Rwanda Hingakawa Minazi Women’s Cooperative – Fair Trade
$15.99
Fair Trade
100 % Arabica beans
Our Rwanda coffee flavor profile has a very clean, crisp and balanced cup, with a pleasant, sweet orange lemony citrus and a tiny hint of tobacco.
This wonderful coffee is produced by the women of Hingakawa Women’s Coffee Cooperative. The Hingakawa Association is one half of the Abakundakawa-Rushashi Cooperative and the other half of Abakundakawa Rushashi is the Dakundakawa (“We love Coffee”) Association, also 100% run by women. Both coffee growing associations are located in the northern, mountainous regions of the Gakenke district, situated at high altitudes (1700-1900 meters elevation) and with coffee farms spread across five distinct zones. This Rwandan coffee bean is a bourbon varietal, washed and sun dried.
We highly recommend giving this new coffee a try!
